2021 is virtual.  The festival location after 2021 is TBA.

If we are at Steele Indian School Park, parking lots will not be available to the general public during the festival. Please use public parking in the vicinity, light rail, city bus, Uber or Lyft. Limited street parking and multiple parking garages are available nearby. We encourage you to use public transportation, Ride Share and other means to access the festival. Light Rail stops within walking distance from the Central & Campbell stop. 

Special Handicap Parking: Specially marked parking spaces are available at Steele Indian School Park and at vicinity parking lots for vehicles displaying disabled plates or placards. Please understand that there will be restricted access to the Parking Lot located at the 3rd Street and Indian School entrance. Parking lots can be accessed from the Central Avenue and 7th Street park entrance locations. Please review the Location tab on the website for details.

No. The festival will go on whether we have rain or sunshine.

$5 for adults and $1 for children. Tickets help pay for the rental of the park and go back into making the festival a success.

2022 tickets will be available on Ticketleap coming after we have a better idea what is going to be allowed for group gatherings.

 

Yes, 10 AM – 11AM both days of the festival.



Yes, the admission includes all performance stages.  Special events, ceremonies, rides or performances conducted in special non-staged designated areas may request an additional fee or tip. 

Yes, you may get your hand stamped upon leaving the grounds and return on the same day for free re-entry unless we reach a capacity limit enforced by the city.

There are several hotels in downtown Phoenix.  Camping out overnight is not allowed.



No, but they are allowed at the festival as we aim to accommodate with our spacious thoroughfares.

The tickets go to cover the cost of the equipment, stages, staff, security, and inner workings of the festival.  Once the money is received, it is used for these purposes. 

If it is possible, we will do everything within our power to return the funds without jeapardizing the longevity of the festival.  

We hope that if it is because of an unforeseen event such as weather or COVID that we can count on your support and humbly request your ticket be considered a donation.

Yes, please look at our program for the map.  With the most recent pandemic we do aim to make this a cashless event.  We are currently looking to have chargeable  wrist-bands that can be used at all vendor locations.



Not all vendors will accept credit cards so please have cash available.  There will be ATM machines available on the festival grounds for your convenience.

No, we will only allow plastic water bottles for individual consumption.

Absolutely, have fun taking pictures. We encourage you to bring your camera. Make sure you share some with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

 Photography Etiquette

No photos in thoroughfares.

This is a safety hazard. If you would like photos taken, please visit our photo vendor located on the map or ask our Help Booth Volunteer. If you would like to take photos of your own, please do not  take them in any busy area.

Sorry, only service animals are allowed on the Festival grounds.  In the future we may grow to include animals if we feel it is safe for our community.

Yes. Service animals are allowed on the grounds. A service animal is one that is individually trained to perform work for a person with a disability. You may be asked if your animal is a service animal and what tasks it is trained to perform. You do not need to provide documentation of your animal’s status as a service animal nor is it required to wear a vest. Your animal must be leashed unless that interferes with its work, but it must still be under your effective control at all times.

Yes, please ask the information booth for the designated area.  There is a fee to check your items.  Please be sure to get a ticket so you will be able to checkout your items.

If you found an item, please bring it to the Information Booth. If you have lost an item, please contact the Information Booth or the Steele Indian School Park office by phone (602-534-4810) or send an email to Info@PIHFLIFE.org with a description of the lost items.

The First-Aid station tent is centrally located.  First-Aid staff will be patrolling the festival. In case of emergency dial 911.  PIHF staff and volunteers can guide you to the First-Aid tent in case of minor issues.

PIHF is a family-oriented event held at Phoenix’s Steele Indian School Park, we kindly ask that all attendees dress appropriately as there will be many children in attendance. Attendees who are dressed inappropriately will be asked to modify their wardrobe or be asked to leave the event. Please read the  Dress Code Rules and Regulations.  

Due to high attendance and congestion throughout the Festival grounds, we have a “No Prop and Weapon” Policy. This includes plastic swords, knives, or other weapons or props including those used for Cosplay. If a festival volunteer observes any attendee carrying such a prop, they will be asked to take the prop off the festival grounds immediately.  Please read the Dress Code Rules and Regulations. 

No, there will not be specific areas for changing clothes other than public restrooms.

Yes! Save some green with group ticket sales available when we are allowed to go live. 26-99 tickets are $4 each; 100+ tickets are $3 each. Call the PIHF Center at 855-534-2669 or email Tickets@PIHFLIFE.org for more information.
